7 Bridges To Recovery goes out in the streets and under the bridges of downtown Atlanta on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings,  as well as Saturday afternoons.  The teams that go out are made up of the 7 Bridges trained leadership team, plus faithful servants from many various churches and denominations in the Metro Atlanta area and beyond.

 

                                                       

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY MINISTRY

Please call 404-361-2250 if you plan to volunteer on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday night. Our ministry team will advise you where and when to meet us. We usually go out from 6pm - 8pm and meet at the Kmart on Cleveland Avenue and I-75 (See the Directions page). RSVP is requested in the event that the time or location changes.

 

SATURDAY MINISTRY

If you want to join us on a Saturday, we always meet at the KMart on Cleveland Avenue and I-75 at Noon. (See the Directions page ).  We open in prayer and then break into teams to go minister in the streets and under the bridges. Many leave their vehicles at Kmart and carpool with others, returning to Kmart after closing in prayer at the Garden. Others follow in their own vehicles/church vans and leave directly from the Garden. We usually finish about 4:30pm at the Garden. RSVP is requested for groups of 10 or more. DRESS/ATTIRE

The ministry operates outside in all weather conditions.  Wear modest clothing and comfortable footwear that has good traction. Sandals and flip flops will limit your ability to go to many locations.  Sunscreen is important in the summer and layered clothing is recommended in the winter.

 

NON-MONETARY DONATIONS

Donations are not required to join us on the streets, but they are welcomed. If you want to bring food, blankets, hygiene kits, clothing or other items, please check our How can I Help?  page for more info on this. Please let us know at least 72 hours in advance what you plan to bring.

 

HEARTS OF LOVE

Please come prepared to serve our brothers and sisters in the streets.  While we do bring food, clothing and other necessities to them, the most important thing we bring is JESUS CHRIST. The Love of Christ, Prayer and the WORD of GOD are what will have an eternal impact on their lives.

 

INNER-CITY MISSION TRIPS

7 Bridges To Recovery hosts teams from all over Georgia as well as from out-of state. If you would like to bring a team (youth or adults) for an inner-city misison trip, we will be happy to assist you in coordinating your trip.
