At 7 Bridges we don’t believe in a 7-step program.

We believe it is one-step only and that’s Jesus.

Pastor 7  was given the seven scriptures below to help lead and guide us to a deeper relationship with Christ and receive the Spiritual Recovery we are all in need of.

The 7 Bridges To Recovery:

1) Hearing the Word of GOD-
John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

2) Making the Commitment to Recovery-
Deuteronomy 30:19-20
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

3) Shedding the Past-
Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

4) Pursuing God’s Will-
Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

5) Walking the Valleys of Recovery-
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

6) Healing Through Serving-
Isaiah 58:6-8
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

7) Claiming Victory-
1 Corinthians 15:56-57
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer of Salvation:

Dear Lord, I believe your Word is true. I admit I am a sinner and that Jesus died and rose again for me. I cannot live according to your ways in my own strength. My heart is willing but my flesh is weak. Please forgive me of my sins, past, present and future. Wash me clean and make my heart new. Come live in my heart and give me eternal life in heaven. Thank you that you will never leave me nor forsake me and you will always help me up when I fall. Be my strength to begin each day anew with your cleansing power and love. In Jesus Name, Amen.
